Nokia gives up on phones to go in a totally new direction: Corn Chips

Finnish mobile technology giant yesterday made an announcement which has shocked the technology and business sector. The company allegedly will no longer be producing mobile phones, but is moving into the salty snacks industry.

“We have decided that with the Blackberry, the iPhone and the Android there is just no room for us anymore.” said Hans Bloogenfold, CIO of Nokia.

goodbye silicon chips, hello corn chips

He also stated that “Corn Chips are not dissimilar to mobile phones and similar marketing techniques can be utilised. Our mobile phone range was always based on some standard shapes and sizes – just like corn chips. If I let you in on a little secret I can tell you we have our best technology people working at this very moment on a clam shell design for the humble corn chip. Ha ha ha!”

Other industry representatives have yet to comment.
