The Brazilian Embassy in Australia is set to have a major landscaping overhaul in a bid to modernise its appearance.
“For many years, the gardens around the embassy have been very sparse,” says head gardener Arbusto Raspada.
“Culturally, we have traditionally gone for the pruned and tidy look, but I think it is time to go natural.”
“While we intend to manicure around the edges, we want to exhibit a lot more natural bush.”
“We also expect to vastly reduce overall maintenance costs, but I could wax lyrical about this all day.”
The Yarralumla Embassy has been a popular tourist attraction in Australia, mostly due to its bare and undulating external features.
